In the leadup to the 2013 IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society (ISTAS): Social Implications of Wearable Computing and Augmediated Reality in Everyday Life which had a theme of 'smartworld' the concept of identity awareness of research data, principally tracking research data and attributing digital object identifiers was a hot topic. Alexander Hayes in this video engages and explores with a range of interested researchers in how to make 'real' this concept, calling on these participants in a live streamed event to respond given the social and ethical implications or 'long tail' effect of these technologies. | selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
