Engaging with researchers- what works? Welcome to the book sprint!

Abstract

Presentation given by Maria Cruz on 10 July 2010 to kick-start the three-day book sprint organised in the Hague, the Netherlands, to produce the book ‘Engaging researchers with research data: The Cookbook’. Maria Cruz facilitated the sprint and is one of the editors of the book. This presentation includes the goals of the book sprint, some of its practicalities, and also some general writing tips and advice. The story of the book sprint is told by book sprint participant Connie Clare in her blog post Book sprint success: A team writing exercise for the win.
