ENDÜLÜS TEFSİR GELENEĞİ VE MÜFESSİR İBN EBÎ ZEMENÎN (324-399/935-1008)

Abstract

Andalusia Tafsir Tradition and Commentator Ibn Abî Zemenîn(324-399/935-1008)Aim of the present study is to give information about Ibn Abî Zemenîn who is the first time scholar and his commentary. He is one of the important commentators of the Andalusia. Some studies were carried out in the Arab world, however his name was mentioned in several research in our country; up to the present, any research hasn’t been conducted about his commentary method and his studies about commentary. He summarized the interpretation of Yahyâ b. Sellâm and interpreted the verses which Yahyâ did not not explain. He rumored a lot of narratives in his work. Understanding his studies easily, his commentaries which is suitable to Arabic language and his weakness for israiliyat are important charecteristics of his commentary
