Missing Data for Data – Our Quest to Clean Up Institutional Affiliations in Dryad: Wrangling RORs

Abstract

The metadata included in the Dryad Data Repository does not include affiliatios for authors. We are searching Crossref, PLOS, and other sources to find affiliations, extracting organization names from this strings, and finally searching for organization identifiers from ROR for those organizations.
