This is a recording of two presentations that were given on 26.02.2019 at the meeting of the working group on "Empowerment, Inclusiveness and Equity" co-chaired by Claudia Göbel, European Citizen Science Association, and Michael Sogard, Living Knowledge Network. The first presentation by Philipp Schrögel and his colleague Christian Humm, both Karlsruhe Institut of Technology – KIT, introduces their current research project "Citizen Science for all? Who is reached by science communication and citizen science? And who not?" (factsheet in English). The second presentation by Rick Hall, Ignite!, introduces the methodology used by Ignite! to engage young people with science and art.
