This essay raises the imperative need to consolidate Venezuelan education as the main mechanism of change and transformation in front to the ethical and social deviations in our country today; through an epistemological conception of decoloniality and a liberating Latin American pedagogy. The case of sexuality is particularly addressed as a factor under which a large number of social problems are involved and which necessarily merits an integral approach that transcends the simplistic vision focused on the biological function by its conception as a fundamental element of the integrality of being; As well as the overcoming of a transmissive-orienting pedagogy by a reflexive, co-responsible and participative one that allows the adolescent construction of theories and methodologies of approach in the construction of his own knowledge. - El presente ensayo plantea la necesidad imperiosa de consolidar la educación venezolana como el principal mecanismo de cambio y transformación para hacer frente a las desviaciones éticas y sociales que enfrenta nuestro país en la actualidad; a través de una concepción epistemológica de la decolonialidad y una pedagogía liberadora latinoamericana. Se aborda particularmente el caso de la sexualidad como factor bajo el cual subyacen una gran cantidad de problemáticas sociales y que amerita necesariamente un abordaje integral que trascienda la visión simplista enfocada en la función biológica por su concepción como elemento fundamental de la integralidad del ser; así como la superación de una pedagogía transmisiva-orientadora por una reflexiva, corresponsable y participativa que permita la construcción por parte del adolescente de teorías y metodologías de abordaje en la construcción de su propio conocimiento.
