Validación del cuestionario de ADAM para la detección de hipogonadismo en pacientes varones con VIH

Abstract

El hipogonadismo es una de las endocrinopatías más comunes entre los pacientes con virus de inmunodeficiencia humana (VIH En la población de pacientes varones con VIH del Hospital Eugenio Espejo se desconoce su prevalencia así como la población de mayor riesgo a la cual se debería hacer un screening y diagnóstico definitivo para que posteriormente se beneficie de un tratamiento adecuado. El cuestionario de ADAM ha demostrado ser una método útil para el diagnóstico de hipogonadismo en la población en general pero en la población de varones con VIH no se ha validado.
