Abstract

Ein Datenmanagementplan (DMP) strukturiert den Umgang mit Forschungsdaten eines wissenschaftlichen Projekts. Viele Drittmittelgeber (DFG, EU Horizon 2020) erwarten für die Vergabe von Mitteln aus bestimmten Förderlinien einen DMP als Teil eines Förderantrags. In einem Datenmanagementplan sollte stehen, wie Sie mit Ihren Forschungsdaten umgehen werden und wie Sie sich die Speicherung, Verzeichnung, Pflege und Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten vorstellen. Sinnvoll ist es, bereits vor Projektbeginn festzulegen, welche Verantwortlichkeiten im Umgang mit Forschungsdaten vorliegen und beispielsweise folgende Aspekte zu klären: Welche Daten werden erzeugt und genutzt? Um welche Art von Daten handelt es sich? Welche Daten sollen oder müssen warum aufbewahrt werden? Welche Zusatzinformationen sind für das Verstehen der Daten notwendig? Wann erfolgt die Datenauswahl? Wie lange sollen die Daten aufbewahrt werden? Wann werden die Daten übergeben? Wer darf die Daten nutzen? Es geht insgesamt darum, sich die Prozesse und Technologien im Umgang mit Forschungsdaten klar zu machen. Mit dem Research Data Management Organiser (RDMO) können Institutionen und Forschende das Forschungsdatenmanagement ihrer Projekte strukturiert planen und durchführen. Es ist ein Werkzeug, das das Erfassen aller relevanten Planungsinformationen in Datenmanagementplänen und die Verwaltung aller Datenmanagementaufgaben erlaubt. Herr Dr. Torsten Rathmann und Annette Strauch, M.A. (FoDaKo-Projekt) haben an Fragekatalogen zu RDMO gearbeitet und stellen Ergebnisse und "Good Practice"- Beispiele in dieser Coffee Lecture vor.
