Neue berufliche Rollen für Forschungsreferent*innen? Kompetenz- und Aufgabenprofile für die IT-gestützte Forschungsberichterstattung

Abstract

Das Aufgabenspektrum von Forschungsreferent*innen ist weit gespannt. Es erstreckt sich über die Antragsberatung, die Koordination von Forschungsverbünden, das Drittmittelmanagement sowie den Wissens- und Technologietransfer. Darüber hinaus gewinnt der Bereich der IT-gestützten Berichterstattung über Forschungsaktivitäten und die Verwaltung von Forschungsinformationen an Bedeutung. Es bilden sich neue berufliche Rollen und Stellenprofile heraus. Trotz Anpassung von Hochschul-Curricula im Zuge der Digitalisierung ist bisher wenig über diese neue "Profession" im Forschungsmanagement, ihre organisatorische Verortung, Aufgabenprofile und Kompetenzprofile zum Aufbau und Betrieb von Instrumenten für die digitale Forschungsdokumentation sowie deren Nutzung für die Forschungsberichterstattung bekannt. Dieser Workshop befasst sich mit dieser Personengruppe und ihrer Rolle innerhalb von Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen. Nach einem Einführungsvortrag zum Stand der Forschung wird im Rahmen des Workshops diskutiert, welche Aufgaben und Qualifikationen diesen Verantwortungsbereich kennzeichnen und welche Bedarfe und Optionen der Professionalisierung und Weiterbildung bestehen.
