Dataset of coral recruitment rates assessed on artificial tiles at Rodrigues and Reunion islands (Mascarene Archipelago) associated to the article: Multiscale variability in coral recruitment in the Mascarene Islands: from centimetric to geographical scale (DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0214163) P1: period 1, i.e. summer 2015–2016 (October 2015–March 2016); P2: winter 2016 (April–September 2016); P3: summer 2016–2017 (October 2016–March 2017). Site codes: SS: Sanctuaire Sud; SB: Souris Blanche; VS: Varangue Sud; MA: Marine; IF: Ile aux Fous; RB: Rivière Banane; MO: Mourouk; PE: Port Sud-Est. Position of recruits on the different surfaces of the tiles are filled in.
