Abstract

El coste humano de los eventos catastróficos ligados al clima consume varios puntos del PIB de los países afectados y deja en la ruina a cientos de miles de personas cada año. Las estrategias preventivas sólo resultarán eficaces si se basan en un conocimiento riguroso de los riesgos y grados de vulnerabilidad.
