Nezara viridula (Linnaeus, 1758) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) w Polsce [Nezara viridula (Linnaeus, 1758) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) in Poland]

This note presents the first record of the invasive species Nezara viridula in Poland. A single, overwintering specimen was found in the southern part of our country, in the warehouse of one of the building stores in Bielsko-Biała. The role of land and maritime transport in the spreading of this species in Europe is also shortly discussed.
