</script>The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the cyber team in supporting the main tasks of the Cenderawasih XVII Military Command and to find out the best strategies to optimize the role of cyber teams in order to support the main tasks of the Cendrawasih XVII Military Command. The approach used in this study uses a qualitativee approach. Qualitative research is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects where researchers are key instruments, triangulation collection techniques, data analysis is inductive and the results of research emphasize the meaning rather than generalization. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling technique, which is the determination of sources based on consideration. Technical data analysis used descriptive analysis model. Based on the results of The Cyber Team XVII Military research Command was known to have tried to carry out its role in supporting the main tasks of the Cenderawasih XVII Military Command, especially in terms of cyber defense, including ensuring the emergence of cyber resilience in the Ministry of Defense and the Indonesian National Army as utilization of other parties, building cyber defense capacity in the form of deterrence capability, enforcement and recovery; and conducting and developing institutional management of Cyber Defense that is responsible, effective, efficient and accountable.
