Evapotranspiração de referência diária por diferentes modelos na bacia hidrográfica do Rio Capibaribe (Pernambuco – Brasil)

Abstract

A estimativa da evapotranspiração é de extrema importância para determinação do balanço hídrico de uma região. Dessa é possível empregar um manejo adequado, otimizando o uso da água. Este estudo teve como objetivo determinar a evapotranspiração de referência (ETo) pelos métodos de Hamon - ETo (H), Hargreaves-Samani- ETo (HS) e Blaney-Criddle- ETo (BC), nos meses de abril e maio dos anos de 2011 e 2012 na bacia hidrográfica do rio Capibaribe, especificamente no município de Surubim - PE. O modelo de Hamon - ETo (HA), quando comparado com o modelo de Blaney-Criddle - ETo (BC), apresentou índice de determinação (R²) de 0,93 para o ano de 2011 e 0,92, para o ano de 2012. Já o modelo de Hargreaves-Samani - ETo (HS) obteve índice de determinação (R²) de 0,72 para o ano de 2011 e 0,73, para o ano de 2012. Os valores de evapotranspiração de referência obtidos através dos três métodos apresentam boa correlação, porém o modelo de Hargreaves-Samani poderia eventualmente substituir o modelo de Blaney-Criddle para o cálculo da ETo com resultados satisfatórios tendo em vista que, em valor absoluto, apresentou melhor proximidade
