Abstract

Resumen: El Museo Arqueológico de La Boca del Riachuelo (MusA Boca) es un lugar para el conocimiento, y principalmente, es un lugar donde se reafirman los objetivos elaborados por la Comisión Pro Rescate Arqueológico de La Boca y Barracas en el año 1995, a la luz de grandes obras públicas que removieron importantes volúmenes de sedimentos durante el control de inundaciones, el saneamiento habitacional de conventillos y la construcción del puente AU Buenos Aires La Plata. Continuaron luego con proyectos como la búsqueda de la Primera Buenos Aires y la promoción de la cultura y el turismo en La Boca. Es así como entre mucha gente, se emprendió una línea de trabajo arqueológico de largo alcance, con trabajos publicados, tesis elaboradas, importantes descubrimientos y colaboración constante con universidades, agencias de turismo y organismos de gobierno: “La Boca Arqueológica” (Figura 1). Con estos antecedentes, el 6 de Febrero 2012, comienza un espacio virtual en la red mundial de información: el MusA Boca, una propuesta de comunicación para popularizar los contenidos de la historia patrimonial cultural de La Boca del Riachuelo.
