The possibility of using PR tools in the field of IT is discussed in this article. The author has shown the specificity of application of PR–technologies in the IT–industry and give some examples of the traditional PR–tools and tools for renovation IT. Also, the importance of combining PR tools in obtaining maximum results has been shown. The author makes a conclusion about the importance and prospects of using PR–services in the IT–sector, in companies with different maturity and size.
