TUMEUR NEUROENDOCRINE DE L’APPENDICE : A PROPOS D’UN CAS NEUROENDOCRINE TUMOR OF THE APPENDIX: A CAS E REPORT.

Abstract

In our work, we report the case of a neuroendocrine tumor of the appendix in a 32-year-old woman admitted for symptoms of acute appendicitis. The vermiform appendix obtained after an emergency appendicectomy contained a firm and whitish parietal mass of 1 cm of diameter. Histology revealed a neuroendocrine tumor of the appendix that involved the mucosa, submucosa, and partly the muscularis.
