Can renormalization be moved before second quantization? A two-soliton test, Feynman diagrams as field configurations, and the measured running

Abstract

Regularizing the core of topological charge makes classical self-energy finite - but is it renormalization moved before 2nd quantization? Recomputing the Faber-Golubich soliton pair gives a halo force rather than vacuum polarization; experiments then fix what the dressing by aborted pair creations must reproduce, also with a shaker (de Broglie clock) as in hydrodynamical QM analogs.
