This .zip file contains 3D datasets for the type specimen of Ontocetus emmonsi, a fossil pinniped, cataloged as USNM 329064 and the type specimen of Albicetus oxymycterus, a fossil sperm whale, cataloged as USNM 10923. Both specimens are deposited in the Department of Paleobiology at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C. See Boersma and Pyenson (2015) PLOS ONE for details about the files and original data collection methods. Data are also available for visualization and download at Smithsonian X 3D (http://3d.si.edu).
