Factorial spikes separate componentwise Noetherianity from FI-Noetherianity

Factorial spikes separate componentwise Noetherianity from FI-Noetherianity

Abstract

Anonymous unrefereed theorem candidate and evidence package. The construction gives a characteristic-free sub-FI-algebra of the standard width-one polynomial FI-algebra whose fixed components are affine Noetherian but whose FI-ideals have a strict infinite ascending chain. The regular-module statement is a formal consequence over the constructed algebra, not a non-free example or a module over the original polynomial FI-algebra. Internal replay and internal editorial review do not establish independent reconstruction, authenticated specialist review, peer review, novelty, or priority.
