This dataset supports the article "Mineral protection and thermal regime constrain soil organic matter stabilization in soils of West Greenland." The files are organized in two datasets: data_1: All chemical and physical values used in the research, with the following units: C_MAOM, C_POM, N_POM, N_MAOM, C_Org (×1.3 WRB adjustment) = mg kg⁻¹ Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Al³⁺, K, Na = cmolc kg⁻¹ Fe, Mn = mg kg⁻¹ DC (δ¹³C) and DN (δ¹⁵N) = ‰ Feox, Alox, FeDCB, AlDCB = g kg⁻¹ Dist_G = meters data_2_clim: Data involving soil thermal regime monitoring, with the following units: Mean_Temp = °C Twd_Temp = Thawing days (count) Fro_Temp = Freezing days (count) Iso_Temp = Isothermal days (count) FDD = Freezing Degree Days (°C·day) TDD = Thawing Degree Days (°C·day) FTD = Freeze–Thaw Days (count)
