
KomaMRI v0.14.0 Diff since v0.13.1 KomaMRI v0.14.0 🎉 Multi-coil simulation has arrived in KomaMRI! A huge thank you to @aiyaszk (Alya Kurt) for initiating and implementing this feature. Multi-coil support is currently implemented at the KomaMRICore simulation level. Coil systems can be configured through Scanner(; receiver=...), but there is not yet an easy way to configure or visualize them through KomaUI or dedicated KomaMRIPlots functions. 🚀 This release provides a solid foundation for efficient multi-coil simulations. We invite users to try the new receive models and multi-channel workflows and report any problems, unexpected behavior, or missing functionality. 🧲 Added multi-coil MRI simulation using uniform, birdcage, or measured receive sensitivities. ⚡ Added efficient multi-channel simulation across CPU and supported GPU backends. 💾 Added correct multi-channel ISMRMRD raw-data output. 📖 Added an accelerated MRI tutorial demonstrating R=3 EPI, sum-of-squares aliasing, coil images, sensitivity maps, and SENSE reconstruction. Includes KomaMRIBase 0.14.0, KomaMRICore 0.13.0, KomaMRIFiles 0.11.6, and KomaMRIPlots 0.13.1. Breaking changes Scanner hardware limits now live under sys.limits. Construct customized scanners with Scanner(limits=HardwareLimits(...)). Custom simulation methods must adopt the updated KomaMRICore execution interface. Normal simulate(obj, seq, sys; ...) calls remain unchanged.
