Heinrich Weber, Lehrbuch der Algebra I-III — German transcription and English translation (working edition)

Abstract

Band II and Band III now have complete source-ordered English first-pass editions. This successor retains the German readers for Bands I–III, replaces the corrected Band-II German and English artifacts, and adds the English Band-III reader and buildable source for all 740 unique source leaves. Band-III stable indices i0415–i0424 are excluded because the scan repeats i0405–i0414 (printed pages 384–393). The 3,457 Band-III query records are retained as audit queries and are not represented as terminal adjudications. Band II contains 804 canonical leaves and 2,486 terminal source-backed query dispositions. Every superseded published or staged byte is preserved in the dated provenance ZIP with an internal hash manifest and exact replacement map. These are source-backed working transcriptions and translations, not canonical translations, critical editions, peer review, or mathematical certification.
