Reference-assembled Early Juan and Super August genomes and annotation

Abstract

Twe generated for the two Prunus persica cultivars, ‘Early Juan’ and ‘Super August’, using genomic DNA extracted from mesocarp tissue. Raw sequencing reads from non-bisulfite-treated DNA libraries were quality-filtered and adapter-trimmed using Trim Galore v0.6.11 (https://www.trimgalore.com) with the parameters -q 30, --length 50, and --max_n 0. Filtered reads were aligned to the P. persica reference genome v2.0 (NC_014697.1) . The resulting alignments were independently used to reconstruct and annotate the cultivar-specific reference genomes using RGAAT v2.0. Genome assemblies and annotations will be deposited in a public repository upon publication.
