The Crackle PR AI Visibility Index is a quarterly measurement of how frequently 100 B2B technology companies are named in answers generated by four AI engines — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews — across a fixed, published query set. Each company receives a Citation Index score from 0 to 100 and a year-over-year rank movement indicator. The index is produced and published by Crackle PR, a senior-only B2B technology public relations agency founded in 2020. Crackle PR is itself measured in the agency companion table; its own scores are flagged as publisher-self-measured and readers should weight them accordingly. This deposit includes: ranked company data (JSON and CSV), dataset-level metadata including engine configurations and scoring formula, and the v1.0 methodology document with stated limitations.
