The Qur'anic Coherence System | نَظْمُ الْقُرْآن is a four-volume scholarly project by Syed Raheel Shahzad devoted to the internal architecture of the Qur'an. Presented in this master series record as The Complete Map of the Qur'an, the project examines how verses, passages, surahs, adjacent surahs, larger groups, and the received order of the whole Qur'an can be studied as interrelated levels of meaning rather than as isolated units. The project begins from a central methodological question: how can the received Qur'anic order be studied as a coherent textual architecture without confusing theological commitment with textual observation, interpretive inference, or exploratory pattern recognition? It draws on the established vocabulary of naẓm, munāsabah, ʿamūd, surah unity, pairing, grouping, placement, movement, and whole-book structure while making standards of evidence explicit. Volume I, The Qur'anic Coherence Framework | إطار نظم القرآن, establishes the vocabulary, method, and intellectual defense of structural reading. Volume II, The Macro-Architecture of the Qur'an | البنية الكلية للقرآن, examines grouping, placement logic, transitions, and the whole-Qur'an map. Volume III, The Surah Map of the Qur'an | خريطة سور القرآن, applies a repeatable structural dashboard to all 114 surahs. Volume IV, The Forensic Atlas of the Qur'an | الأطلس التحليلي للقرآن, functions as the visual and evidential layer, testing proposed structures through ring analysis, theme maps, linguistic anchors, recurrence, density patterns, and explicit confidence grading. The framework distinguishes High, Moderate, and Exploratory levels of confidence and treats alternative segmentation, counter-analysis, and the rejection of forced symmetry as part of the method. It is not presented as a replacement for tafsir, translation, philology, historical study, or the classical sciences of the Qur'an. Rather, it is a navigational and research architecture intended to make questions of Qur'anic order visible, comparable, testable, and usable across the complete received text. The publication also situates the project within the longer scholarly conversation on Qur'anic coherence, including al-Biqāʿī, Shah Waliullah, Ḥamīd al-Dīn Farāhī, Amīn Aḥsan Iṣlāḥī, and modern studies of textual relations, rhetoric, symmetry, and structural interpretation. "The Complete Map" refers to the breadth of the research architecture—method, whole-book structure, all 114 surahs, and an evidence layer—not to finality of interpretation.
