Deliverable D2.3 - AI-EFFECT Infrastructural Building Blocks

Abstract

This software deliverable presents enhancements to three open-source building blocks—VILLASnode, the TSG Data Space Connector, and Grid2Op—developed to meet AI-EFFECT Testing and Experimentation Facility (TEF) requirements and support project use cases. New functionalities were added to enable improved data exchange, simulation, interoperability, and grid control experimentation across the German and Danish TEF nodes. The document outlines the implemented upgrades, provides links to the original and modified software repositories, and describes how these enhancements build on the AI-EFFECT building block catalogue and conformance baseline. The developments support interoperable, open-source solutions for AI testing and experimentation in the energy sector.
