The Price of Preference: A Budget-Aware Siting Framework with Robustness Metrics

Abstract

This dataset supports the study “The Price of Preference: A Budget-Aware Siting Framework with Robustness Metrics.” It contains spatial, cost, and model-output data used to evaluate how additional budget flexibility can reduce prime-farmland impacts from utility-scale solar siting in New York State. The dataset supports Price of Preference, spatial optimization, and robustness analyses across near-optimal energy-system portfolios.
