Strenghten rural businesses

Authors: Euromontana;

Strenghten rural businesses

Abstract

Challenge context Rural areas across Europe hold significant economic potential, in their businesses, craftspeople, farmers and natural assets. Yet this potential often remains invisible, fragmented and underactivated. This transition theme Rural economies operate within complex, interconnected systems, and building resilience requires understanding the mechanisms through which change actually happens in a territory. Across Austria and Poland, the Living Labs in this leaflet show that the building blocks of stronger rural economies are often already present, waiting to be recognised, connected and supported. How making local economic assets visible can be the first step to strenghten rural businesses? Transition choice : Strenghten rural businesses Broader transition: socio-economic & demographic transition
