D6.1 Pilots coordination: plan and monitoring – Initial Version

Abstract

This deliverable presents the planning for the implementation of the project pilots, outlining the development, customization, and demonstration activities for implementing the Digital Product Service System Passport (DPSSP) within real industrial contexts. The plan provides a clear roadmap for the practical implementation of the pilots and ensures consistency with the project objectives and the industrial requirements previously defined. Each pilot is planned by following the main steps of the procedural layer of the DPSSP methodological framework. These steps include the definition of the Product-Service System (PSS) context in which the DPSSP can generate value, the identification of the involved stakeholders and their interactions, the design of the hierarchical DPSSP structure at both product and component levels, and the selection of relevant data, business and technical indicators, actors, and enabling technologies. Particular attention is given to the formalization of data content and semantics to ensure interoperability and coherent data exchange across the ecosystem. Moreover, the customization and further development of the DPSSP technological components—such as AI-enabled LCA/LCC tools, Digital Twin-based simulation, smart product design optimization, DPSSP Ontology, Data Space Enabler, DPSSP Digital Environment and Context Sensitivity Service—are defined for each pilot, clarifying their contribution to data collection, analysis, and exchange. This report describes 8 PSS application scenarios and 3 enabling PSS scenarios that comprisethe 3 industrial pilots that will be used to validate the project technologies.
