Nuevo Modelo Educativo. La Educación Holista como eje Curricular Educativo

Abstract

Este ensayo explora los fundamentos y alcances de la Educación Holista, la Inteligencia Espiritual y el mindfulness como perspectivas complementarias para comprender los desafíos de la educación contemporánea. A partir de las aportaciones de Ramón Gallegos, particularmente en Comunidades de aprendizaje, En unidad con el ser, La consciencia iluminada y El néctar de la felicidad, se analiza la educación como un proceso de desarrollo integral de la consciencia y de transformación humana. Este marco dialoga con las 21 aptitudes de la Inteligencia Espiritual propuestas por Cindy Wigglesworth y con la atención plena y el programa MBSR desarrollados por Jon Kabat-Zinn. Asimismo, Basta de historias de Andrés Oppenheimer aporta una mirada crítica sobre los retos educativos de América Latina y la necesidad de vincular la formación integral con la innovación, el pensamiento crítico y las demandas del mundo contemporáneo. En conjunto, estas perspectivas permiten reflexionar sobre la necesidad de una educación que integre conocimiento, consciencia, bienestar, sentido de vida y responsabilidad humana, sin perder de vista la realidad social y educativa en la que se desarrolla.
