Abstract

This volume contains the abstracts presented at Paleo4Alps 2026, the Joint Meeting of the Italian, German, Austrian, and Swiss Paleontological Societies, held in Bozen/Bolzano (Italy) from 19 to 23 July 2026 at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Paleo4Alps 2026 brought together researchers from across the paleontological sciences, covering vertebrate and invertebrate paleontology, paleobotany, micropaleontology, taphonomy, paleoecology, conservation paleobiology, geochemistry, paleoclimate, artificial intelligence in paleontology, and related disciplines. The volume includes keynote lectures, symposium contributions, poster abstracts, field trip information, and the scientific programme of the conference.
