Synthetic three-dimensional trajectory dataset generated with SynTraGe

Authors: Gonçalves, Rodrigo Javier;

Synthetic three-dimensional trajectory dataset generated with SynTraGe

Abstract

This dataset contains synthetic three-dimensional trajectories generated with SynTraGe (Synthetic Trajectory Generator), covering 13 movement models: isotropic and correlated random walks, Lévy walks, Brownian and active Brownian motion, ballistic, circular and helical motion, run-and-tumble, subdiffusive CTRW, and an anti-persistent subdiffusive approximation. Each trajectory has known generative parameters, providing a ground truth against which trajectory-analysis methods can be validated and calibrated — something unavailable in experimental data. The accompanying README documents the model and parameters of every file, the column dictionary, and the software version, random seed and commands needed for regeneration. Produced at the MicroMotion Lab (University of Granada). Generating software: SynTraGe (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21512751). Companion experimental dataset: DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21514717. Funding: Project CNS2023-143635, MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR.
