The Ascent to the Bottom of Hell: A Gnostic Philosophical Narrative

Abstract

The Ascent to the Bottom of Hell is a Gnostic philosophical narrative that explores the relationship between earthly justice and metaphysical justice through a fictional world governed by the principle that every action performed with conscious intent and deliberate persistence ultimately returns to its origin—good with good, and evil with evil. Rather than presenting a conventional novel, the work combines literary narrative, philosophical reflection, and Gnostic symbolism to examine the intersection between human actions and a hidden order of justice that transcends human law. This publication contains the Introduction and Episode One, presenting the conceptual foundation of the narrative world and introducing the first of the governing laws upon which the larger work is built. The narrative will continue in future episodes and publications.
