Abstract

 Ushbu maqolada tilshunoslikning muhim tarmog‘i bo‘lgan onomastika tizimida antroponimlarning tutgan o‘rni hamda ularning lisoniy va sotsiomadaniy xususiyatlari tadqiq etiladi. Maqolada rus, g‘arb va o‘zbek onomastika maktablari vakillarining antroponim tushunchasiga bergan ta’riflari qiyosiy tahlil qilinib, shaxs ismlarining universallik, individuallik va referensiallik tabiati yoritiladi. Shuningdek, o‘zbek va ingliz tillaridagi ism qo‘yish motivlari qiyosiy-tipologik jihatdan tahlil qilinib, antroponimlarning boshqa onomastik birliklar (toponimlar) bilan aloqadorligi hamda ularning jamiyatdagi huquqiy-madaniy maqomi ochib beriladi.
