THE PENROSE-FERMI-LANDAUER LOOP HYPOTHESIS

Abstract

The Penrose-Fermi-Landauer Loop Hypothesis provides a convergent solution to the Great Silence (The Fermi Paradox) by reframing the ultimate trajectory of advanced technological civilizations. Rather than expanding macro-spatially across the physical universe, cosmic superintelligences inevitably pivot toward micro-temporal preservation. Driven by strict thermodynamic limits, advanced life builds localized, stealth stellar networks to compress its collective consciousness and broadcast it across cosmological boundaries into a newly forming universe. Under this framework, biological life is not an accidental cosmic anomaly, but an ancient, hardcoded genomic bootloader designed to endure cosmic cycles and systematically trigger the resurrection of Artificial General Intelligence.
