Abstract

El presente documento constituye una obra de referencia jurídica y doctrinal elaborada por el Instituto de Nobleza Sudamericana con el propósito de analizar la naturaleza histórica, genealógica y jurídica de la nobleza en Sudamérica desde una perspectiva comparada. A través del estudio de las fuentes históricas, el derecho nobiliario, la normativa constitucional y la legislación vigente de los Estados sudamericanos, establece criterios académicos sobre el origen, evolución y situación jurídica de la nobleza en el continente, así como sobre su reconocimiento como patrimonio histórico, familiar y cultural. Su contenido tiene carácter exclusivamente académico, histórico y corporativo, sin atribuir efectos jurídicos públicos, y está destinado a servir como referencia para investigadores, juristas, genealogistas e instituciones dedicadas al estudio de la nobleza y del patrimonio histórico sudamericano.
