Abstract

Data Survival Game Das Data Survival Game ist eine übersetzte Online-Version des Research Survival Game (Mesotten, L., D'Hont, A., Heirman, H.& Stieglitz, J. (2024, November 27). Research Survival Game. Zenodo. https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14228197) und wurde erstmals während der Love Data Week 2026 in dieser Form gespielt. Das Spiel dient dem Erlernen und Festigen von Wissen in den Bereichen Open Access, Information Retrieval und Forschungsdatenmanagement. Im Spiel stellt die Spielleitung Quizfragen aus diesen Bereichen und vergibt bei richtiger Beantwortung Punkte. Auf dem Spielfeld können zusätzlich Aktionsfelder angelegt werden, die typische Probleme im Umgang mit Forschungsdaten ansprechen und angelehnt sind an das analoge Vorbild-Brettspiel. Das Spiel gewinnt, wer die meisten Punkte nach einer festgelegten Zeit erhalten hat oder zuerst einen zuvor festgelegten Punktestand erreicht. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Anleitungs- und Bilddateien können zur Einrichtung eines eigenen Data Survival Game über die Plattform WorkAdventure genutzt werden. Die beigefügte Spielkarte kann wie gezeigt verwendet werden oder es kann für die Nachnutzung eine eigene Karte (z.B. angepasst an die eigene institutionelle Verortung) mit Tiled erstellt werden. Zur Verfügung gestellte Dateien Anleitung zur technischen Umsetzung des Spiels Tilesets und Beispielkarte für Workadventure (32x32 Pixel) Aktualisierter und ergänzter Fragenkatalog Kontakt Bei Fragen und Problemen ist das Team des HITS FDM Aufbauprojekts unter fdm@digitalverbund.bayern erreichbar.
