Abstract

Cette bande dessinée a été développée dans le cadre du projet Horizon Europe SpongeScapes afin d’explorer l’usage et la signification du terme « éponge » en lien avec l’atténuation des inondations et des sécheresses. Fondée sur le mémoire de master de Louis Bonhoure, ainsi que sur des entretiens, une analyse des médias et une réflexion critique sur la terminologie, elle examine comment l’image de l’« éponge » s’est imposée dans les discours médiatiques, scientifiques et politiques, et comment cette métaphore facilite – et parfois complique – la communication sur la gestion de l’eau. La bande dessinée présente visuellement ces résultats à travers la narration.
