DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR IMPACT ON LISTENING SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article examines the impact of digital technologies on the development of listening skills in English language learning. It highlights the role of digital tools such as educational applications, podcasts, multimedia resources, online platforms, and artificial intelligence in improving listening comprehension. The study discusses how technology enhances learner motivation, provides access to authentic materials, supports autonomous learning, and creates personalized learning opportunities. The article also addresses several challenges related to the use of technology in education. The findings indicate that digital technologies can significantly improve listening skills and contribute to more effective and engaging language learning when integrated appropriately into the teaching process.
