This dataset of Belgian Diamond Open Access journals is produced and maintained by Laura Mesotten and Demmy Verbeke. It includes journals that meet the dataset’s defined criteria for both Diamond Open Access and Belgian (see the “About” section for terminology, scope, and methodology). The dataset reflects the state of the data as reviewed at a specific point in time, indicated in the “About” section. As journal policies, platforms, and indexing statuses may change over time, the dataset should be interpreted as a snapshot rather than a definitive or exhaustive list. While efforts were made to be as complete as possible (within the defined parameters), some journals may be missing, outdated, or require correction. Please contact the authors with any additions, corrections, or remarks. The dataset is intended to support research and analysis on scholarly communication and Diamond Open Access publishing in Belgium. It will be periodically updated, and users are encouraged to consult the most recent version.
