Research Methodology for IGNOU MBA Projects (MMPP-001): Research Design, Objectives and Data Methods

Abstract

This educational resource explains the research methodology expected in the IGNOU MBA project (MMPP-001). It covers framing measurable research objectives, selecting an appropriate research design (exploratory, descriptive or causal), choosing sampling methods, collecting primary and secondary data, and applying analysis techniques such as percentages, cross-tabulation and correlation — with notes on validity, limitations and academic referencing. Prepared for IGNOU distance-learning MBA students as a methodological reference to guide original project work. It does not provide a ready-made project report. Author: BK Sahni, Founder, Shri Chakradhar Publication Pvt. Ltd. (ignouproject.com). Guiding 5,00,000+ IGNOU students since 2010.
