Nagel Dual-Core EV Architecture

Abstract

The Nagel Dual-Core EV Architecture scales a highly efficient, two-zone energy framework down to the consumer passenger car market. By separating dynamic power delivery from total energy capacity, the architecture introduces a permanent, high-discharge internal chassis buffer (the "carburetor") that handles 100% of transient drivetrain demands, such as rapid acceleration and regenerative braking capture. This permanent core is fed by a flat, continuous, low-stress current draw from a standardized, "dumb" energy cassette (the "fuel tank"). This modular configuration allows drivers to scale their vehicle's range on demand using interchangeable 50-mile, 100-mile, or 200+ mile capacity tiers, completely eliminating the dead battery weight and over-engineering of conventional EVs. The entire ecosystem is supported by an automated energy hub station layout that utilizes purely mechanical material handling, laser alignment verification, and a parallel dual-conveyor storage loop to execute a complete vehicle cassette exchange in under 60 seconds without software dependencies or high-voltage grid spikes.
