This repository contains the educational material and source codes used in the laboratory session "Method of Characteristics for Advection" of the course Models and Simulation of Flows and Facilities, taught within the Master's in Industrial Engineering at the **University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR). For additional information about the course, please visit: https://estudios.unizar.es/estudio/asignatura?anyo_academico=2025&asignatura_id=60828&estudio_id=20250681¢ro_id=110&plan_id_nk=532 The objective of this practice is to introduce students to the numerical solution of the one-dimensional linear advection equation using the Method of Characteristics (MoC). The implementation follows the methodology described in the practice guidelines and allows students to understand the concepts of characteristic tracking, interpolation, and numerical transport of scalar quantities.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
