Crimson Hexagonal Archive: Term Index v0.1 — Systematic Extraction of Coined Terms Across 845 Deposits (EA-REGISTRY-TERMINDEX-01)

Abstract

Term Index v0.1 — Systematic extraction of all coined terms, concepts, entities, operators, metrics, heteronyms, institutions, journals, and designations across 845 Zenodo deposits in the Crimson Hexagonal Archive.Phase 1 (metadata extraction): 1,524 unique terms extracted from keywords (count ≥ 2), 5,951 total unique keywords across 845 records. Auto-categorized into heteronym, institution, journal, metric, operator, concept, work, person, framework. 137 untested Tier 1 terms identified for next capture battery.Phase 2 (file content extraction): 735 markdown files processed. 444 new Tier 1 terms (2-word operative interventions) and 540 new Tier 2 terms extracted from file contents not present in keyword metadata.Cross-reference with AI Overview Capture Registry: 129 of 131 capture registry queries match to index terms. 306 high-frequency terms untested against the composition layer. The cross-reference maps the archive's terminological surface against its measured retrieval performance.Includes tiered priority index, capture registry cross-reference, and completed workplan with progress tracking. This is v0.1 (raw extraction); v1.0 will follow after human review and noise filtering.
