Genome Assembly, Annotation, and Comparative Genomic analyses of Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae Strain D70

Abstract

This record contains the genome report associated with the draft genome sequence of Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae strain D70. The study describes genome assembly, annotation, and genomic analyses including taxonomic assignment, species delineation, and identification of biosynthetic gene clusters. Genome sequencing was performed using Illumina paired-end technology, and de novo assembly was carried out using SPAdes. Functional annotation and comparative genomic analyses were performed using standard bioinformatic pipelines, including RASTtk, TYGS, ANI/dDDH-based approaches, and antiSMASH for secondary metabolite prediction. The corresponding genome dataset will be deposited in Zenodo and linked to this report.
