Abstract

This article starts from the following point: numbers as finite sequences of the symbol 1. From this seed grows a new arithmetic, a unified view of zero and infinity, and a way to understand negative numbers as observations in a different dimension. No advanced maths required. Just a willingness to notice what is usually ignored.
