Data and Model underlying Roth & Parag, "Infrastructure and Energy Security Tradeoffs in Islanded Power Systems Under Rapid Demand Growth"

Abstract

This record contains the ROTH Power System Model, an open, Excel-based hourly simulation tool for islanded power systems, together with the scenario results underlying Roth & Parag, "Infrastructure and Energy Security Tradeoffs in Islanded Power Systems Under Rapid Demand Growth." The data cover four 2050 decarbonization scenarios for Israel (Business-as-Usual, Diverse, Renewable, and Nuclear–Low-Carbon), reporting installed generation and storage capacity, curtailment, land use, and direct CO₂ emissions, along with sensitivity to the curtailment limit and storage efficiency.
