Implementazione Architettura di Osservabilità Full-Stack e Business Continuity Open-Source conforme NIS 2 su Infrastruttura PNRR

Abstract

[ENGLISH]This paper presents the design and experimental validation of a fully open-source full-stack observability and business continuity architecture, engineered to meet the stringent compliance requirements of the European NIS 2 Directive ((EU) 2022/2555) for critical infrastructures. By leveraging hyperconverged and cloud-native open technologies (Proxmox VE, SUSE Rancher/Kubernetes, OpenSearch) and integrating deep kernel-level telemetry via eBPF, the framework demonstrates how comprehensive monitoring and advanced recovery can be achieved while completely eliminating proprietary vendor lock-in costs. The technological sandbox was fully hosted and validated on the Institute's Datacenter funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
