Architects Of Intelligence

Abstract

Slides presented at the Board Game Research Meeting 2026 (Genoa, Italy, June 11–13, 2026). The presentation explores the use of serious games and board games as tools for AI literacy, illustrating the Architects Of Intelligence — a board game designed to engage teachers, students, and professionals with the foundational concepts of Artificial Intelligence in a critical, conscious, and collaborative way. It discusses the rationale, design principles, and intended learning outcomes of adopting game-based approaches to foster AI literacy across higher education, VET, and professional training contexts.
